Commercial and Property Law

Luke is an experienced lawyer in the Property and Commercial departments.

Specialising in major property developments, rural and commercial property, sales and purchase of business, and franchising, he acts on behalf of a variety of property owners, developers and business owners throughout New South Wales.

Property Law

Luke has substantial experience when it comes to property development matters. No stranger to working on large scale projects, he works closely with surveyors, town planners and the land registry to get commercial and residential developments up and running.

Valued by clients for routinely going the extra mile, Luke handles every element of the development process. From section 88B instruments and planning agreements to management and building development statements, he covers all compliance bases to see projects through to market – efficiently, cost effectively and at scale.

Luke also specialises in handling large rural and agricultural property transactions. With particular expertise in the field of water licensing, he ensures that appropriate consents are secured and transferred in the correct proportions in the case of multiple lot properties. He ensures full use of taxation exemption processes, including GST and stamp duty exemptions for intergenerational transfers.

Commercial

With considerable experience in franchising matters, Luke’s commercial practice is primarily focused on guiding franchisors and franchisees through this often complicated process. With an intricate knowledge of the contractual and regulatory considerations specific to this niche area of commercial law, he ensures that every franchising agreement is established on watertight foundations.
